Description

Living van Gogh is a journey into the universe of Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) where the public is absorbed by his paintings, dreams and emotions, becoming Vincent himself.

Visitors are taken through various installations related to the artist’s works, ranging from interactive installations, virtual reality, a magical symphony and 360º projection, where they progressively step into van Gogh’s shoes, into the turmoil of his mind and into the center of his emotion.

This is the case with “Symphony of the Sunflowers” – a symbiosis of music, giant luminous sculptures and light effects based on the symbolism of sunflowers for Van Gogh and the recitation of the poem “Last letter from Van Gogh to Théo” by Al Berto.

Living van Gogh is a Portugal Agenda event, directed by Nuno Maya, directed by Massimiliano Siccardi and produced by OCUBO.

  • Exhibition not recommended for people with epilepsy, due to intermittent light and sound effects.
