The Marinha Planetarium, formerly Calouste Gulbenkian Planetarium, has a session dedicated to the little ones, where preschoolers and 1st cycle children will be able to visit the planets of our solar system, in a fun and educational way.

Virtual reality transports the user to a simulated environment that is completely different from the reality that surrounds him. This immersive experience makes the user feel that they are inserted into an alternative reality, as if they were really there, but everything is just a computer system. The technology induces visual and sound effects, allowing total immersion in the virtually simulated environment. The user can interact or not with what he sees around him. It’s like being inside another world!

SEA LIFE PORTO | THE FAMILY AQUARIUM IN PORTO

Sea Life Porto is the second largest aquarium in Portugal, after the Lisbon Oceanarium, with the capacity to house more than 3,000 species of animals. There are 31 different aquatic habitats, full of aquatic life. Sharks, rays, giant tortoises, seahorses, octopuses and penguins are just some of the marine creatures that can be seen daily. In addition to observation, it is also possible to watch the animals feed.

The new exhibition has a participatory nature and highlights the importance of water, through a set of playful and scientific experiences on phenomena related to water resources in a very interactive way, which promises to arouse the interest of children and adults.
