The city of Porto hides legends that spark the curiosity of locals, visitors and tourists. And it is beneath the Alfândega do Porto that you can discover many of them, in a mysterious and magical immersive show: “Porto Legends – The Underground Experience.”

What is Porto Legends – The Underground Experience?

Porto Legends is a 360º audiovisual experience where you can uncover the most valuable treasure of the Invicta: its stories and legends.
In this immersive experience, ten legends are brought to life through music, 2D and 3D animations and the unmistakable voices of the narrators. The walls of the Furnas da Alfândega are filled with light, colour and movement throughout the show.

The unique architecture of the Furnas da Alfândega do Porto, combined with the research of renowned historian Joel Cleto, provided the perfect foundations for the creation of this immersive and mysterious show, which plays between reality and fiction.
With artistic direction by Nuno Maya, the experience is narrated by the voices of Pedro Abrunhosa, a well-known Portuguese musician and composer, and Jeremy Irons, Academy Award-winning actor for Best Actor.

The legends that bring Porto’s history to life

Throughout the experience, ten key legends from Porto’s history are presented, coming to life through 2D and 3D animations, music and immersive narration. The Portuguese version is narrated by Pedro Abrunhosa, while the English version features the voice of Jeremy Irons. Narration is also available in other languages.
