What is Porto Legends?

Porto Legends invites you to discover the city’s intangible cultural heritage through three experiences where history, legend and technology come together:

Discover ten Porto legends through 360º projections, 2D and 3D animation, music and storytelling in a unique setting: the Furnas da Alfândega do Porto.

Created based on research by historian Joel Cleto and with artistic direction by Nuno Maya, the show features the voices of Pedro Abrunhosa in Portuguese and Jeremy Irons in English.

The 10 legends featured in Porto Legends:

The Treasure of Serra do Pilar, The Ghost of the Last Nun, Baron Forrester, Zé do Telhado, The Siege of Porto and Its Dragon, The 1755 Earthquake, Pedro Cem, Tripas à Moda do Porto, Miragaia and River of Forgetfulness.

Narration in the immersive room is available in Portuguese, English, French, Italian, Korean, Spanish, German, Polish and Mandarin.
